Bernhard Garnicnig, born 1983 in Bregenz, studies Digital Arts (Univ.Prof.Peter Weibel, Univ.Prof.Thomas Fürstner, Univ.Prof.Ruth Schnell, Univ.Prof.Virgil Widrich) at the University for Applied Arts in Vienna, Austria since 2005 and Fine Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna since 2008 (Univ.Prof. Constanze Ruhm, Univ.Prof. Monica Bonvicini). He is a founding member of c17, an environment for the production, presentation and collection of projects by upcoming artists. His current work focuses on establishing social, institutional, theoretical, spatial, sculptural and audiovisual constellations.
